Introduction

“Shen’s Mysterious Kongxology” was written by Mr. Shen Zhufeng himself. Shen Zhufeng is a descendant of Shen Kuo, the author of “Mengxi Bi Tan”, a great scientist in the Song Dynasty. “Xuan Kong” is a very puzzling term, and different schools have different explanations. It is generally believed that “xuan” refers to the sky, expressing time; “kong” refers to the earth, expressing space. Mr. Shen Zhuma thinks: “Mystery is one; the support of emptiness is orifice; there are nine orifices, so it is called nine orifices. It is the word ‘xuankong’, which is called from one to nine.” One to nine refers to The so-called “nine stars”, Xuan Kongshu, is the specific application of the nine-star flying cloth principle on the compass.

“Shen’s Xuankong Xue” is a masterpiece of Fengshui. Since its publication, it has laid a solid theoretical foundation for Xuankong Fengshui School to dominate the Chinese geomancy circle.

Brief introduction of the author

Mr. Shen Zhufeng (1849-1906), formerly known as Shen Shaoxun, styled Zhufeng, was born in Qiantang, Zhejiang in the late Qing Dynasty. He is good at poetry and righteousness, good at calligraphy and painting, especially good at geomancy. He bought “Yin and Yang Two House Records” from Zhang Zhongshan’s descendants with a lot of money, and suddenly became a master of Xuankong Fengshui for a generation. He wrote “Shen’s Xuankong Xue”, which revealed secrets that were not handed down by the predecessors. Guiding the younger generation to learn the right way of Xuankong Fengshui has made great achievements in Xuankong Fengshui, and is respected by later generations of Xuankong Fengshui practitioners. “Shen’s Xuankong Xue” has also become an epoch-making masterpiece in Fengshui.
